Spread Eagle News
July 17, 2007 - Today the Spread Eagle Saloon not only had a more than usual amount of construction done to it, but it also had a surprise inspection by the Nassau West Fire Department — which it passed!
During the inspection, the maximum occupancy was (finally) set at 10 persons in the bar at the same time. This number would not include those inside the kbartram.com Arena, just in the Spread Eagle. The fire extinguishers were also inspected, and passed. Yee haw!
The stage was finally powered up with two double receptacles, providing four power outlets. These outlets were all tested, and they all work. The outlets will likely be countersunk, painted high-gloss black, and laminated over at some point in the very near future.
The first phase of last phase of facing the stage front began today, as well. The front and left side of the stage will be paneled with high-gloss white "bead board." It is the same that faces the front of the bar. Nice finish, easy maintenance. We're gettin' there!
